Mailbox responsibility
Is it the responsbility of the landlord or the tenant to replace a mailbox that when it rains it leaks all over the mail? Some of our mail has been thoroughly soaked and we have asked our landlord to take care of it and she claims that it is our responsibility. We have no written contract with her and have not had any problems with her replacing things in the last year, however I don't think this sounds logical since she owns the house. However I wanted to see what the law says on this. thank you

I am happy to hear that there is mail delivery in Mississippi. I thought it was Pony Express and riverboat.
How much does a new mail box cost?
Is your mail worth having delivered dry? DO you have the time to fight over this?
