How can one find out what home owners insurance a deceased had? My dad died May 15, 2006, I've not been able to locate insurance papers for his trailer. I know he had homeowners insurance, but I don't know how to find the company. I've not been able to find any papers. Thanks!

His checking account records may include payments to a lender for the purchase of his home, and the lender would probably have the insurer's name. Alternatively, look at his checking account records for payments to insurance companies.
