Bankruptcy of Privately Guaranteed Loans

I have a loan company who is trying to collect after my discharge date. The loan was Privately Guaranteed (not Government Guaranteed). Can they really force me to pay?

Re: Bankruptcy of Privately Guaranteed Loans

If the loan was definitely a private loan and not federally guaranteed they should not be able to collect the debt. Call their bluff and wait for them to sue you or call your original bankruptcy lawyer regarding this. ph. (800) 303-0720
