Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Missouri

can professors after smelling like smoke kick you out of the program.

I'm attending a local college and in a allied heath program. My instructor asked me if i'd been smoking, Said she was giving me a wurning this time but would write me up next time. In her student hand book she states that '' Cosmetics should be used in moderation. No strong or offensive odors of any kind are allowed in the classroom, lab, or at the clinical site. This includes but is not limited to perfume, cologne, lotion, and or tobacco smoke.'' goes on to stae ''Disciplinary action will be taken if any student fails to comply with regulation regarding attire. !st offense will result in dismissal from class. 2nd dismissal for class and student placed on probation. 3rd result from dismissal from program. Is this even legal? I paid my tation just as everyone else in that college. Can they till me i can't smoke in my car driving to school, or at lunch off campass. And to also tell students that have tatoo that they can not show in lab or clinicals. I almost get that one . will at clinicals but on campass lab. Please help Not sure if I'm being self centered or not. but I fell the instructor has no right to tell me to stop smoking. Espesally at my own house or car.
