Legal Question in Technology Law in Missouri

Personal images on web site

My exwife cheated on me, took the house, and won in every situation. I have photos of her, some nude and some not. I was thinking of creating a web site just for some payback and posting those. Not for profit, not adult (x rated). She consented (and posed) when they were taken. I was going to buy a domain with her name - www.firstnamelastname.com and post them there without ANY text or slander written on the page...just the photos that WE took. Can she win this one too if I were to go through with it?

This probably sounds like a really good idea to you, but let me make sure the answer is clear. If you do this she will sue you, and if she sues you, there is a fair chance she'll win.

Having been down the exact path you're on (my ex did the same thing to me) I had often thought of doing something equally ugly. But, particularly if the two of you have children, this will bite you in the behind later. Even if you don't, the very best approach to take is to forgive and forget. Forgive not because she deserves it, but because you deserve the peace that comes from not carrying this weight around for the rest of your life. Forget because it will make you happier and healthier down the road.

I know this isn't the answer you wanted, but take it from a brother who's been screwed, blued and tattoed in the same situation: before you go after vengeance you have to dig two graves.
