Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri

i have been contacted by a debt collector for u.s. bank that has given me 3 options to pay off the debt, none of which i can afford. they are threatening legal action if i dont take one of those and they will not consider a lower payment option which i could afford. what are my chances of getting a judge to side with me if it goes to court?

The chances that a judge will find that they must accept lower payments, instead of a judgment nearly zero. But, you may have defenses to the case. Perhaps you should consult directly with a civil practice attorney in your area, to see what defenses you have.

Good luck
