Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri

a judgement was entered in 2002 in Illinois it was deemed noncollectable. I moved to Missouri in 2003 the statute of limitations in Illinois is 20yrs the statute in Missouri is 10 yrs which one applies?

If the judgment is still valid in Illinois, it can probably still be registered in your Missouri County. The judgment creditor would have ten years from then to execute or reaffirm the judgment.

If the judgment is still valid in Illinois, it can probably still be registered in your Missouri County. The judgment creditor would have ten years from then to execute or reaffirm the judgment. But, it might be worth hiring an attorney to contest the registration of the foreign judgment.
