Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
I need some help ASAP!!!!
I need some direction asap!!!! My boyfriend is in jail for a probation violation in Clay county (MO). His court date is June 9th but he has a court date June 8th in Independence, MO? What do I need to do to get an continuance for the June 8th
Already Tried:
I have talked to the bondsmen that we went through for independence and he stated he can't get involved per the courts. So I want to talk to a lawyer about going out there to just get an continuance. But the draw back is neither him or I have much in money at all.I need some direction asap!!!!

If your boyfriend does not get bailed out in time to make his appearance on the 8th, then you need to hire counsel to appear on his behalf. Le me know if we can help.
