Legal Question in DUI Law in Missouri

License Restoration

I'm intersted in seeing about either a restricted license - or hardship license - so I can drive back and forth to work and take care of other menial tasks (laundry, pick up my paychecks, etc..). My license was revoked in Michigan about 22 years ago and I'm due for reinstatement in 2010. I don't recall my exact charges, but I had some driving while license revoked charges that added eternity to the end of my revocation period.

What my question is, is what do I need to do now to get it back so I can drive to and from work, to the laundromat, to get my paycheck, etc...? I've been riding with employees (I'm a supervisor), but there's no guarantee they'll remain employed by our company even one more day - they could leave at any time. Also, the bus lines don't run on Sundays. I work 3rd shift.

If I do drink anymore, it's usually one beer or mixed drink right here at home and then I lose interest. I'm 43 years old, so my bar-hopping days are long gone.

Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Re: License Restoration

I'm very curious about how and why Michigan suspended your license for so long. Missouri does have a hardship license, but I need to know a lot more before I know if I can help you. Feel free to call or e-mail me. My number is 913-648-7070. The consultation is free and we'll determine what we can get done.
