Auto insurance pay-off

I recently served my spouse with divorce papers. He just wrecked his vehicle. He received a check from our insurance company for $4500. since my name was on the vehicle am I entitled to any of this money since we are still currently married? If so, at what point do I seek this money, now or through the divorce.
