You did not tell us whether there was an administrative hearing before the child support order was entered. If not, you may be able to request one. If so, you may be able to file an action in court to have the issue of child support revisited, but this would not be practical unless the result would save you a great deal of money. Most private attorneys require retainer fees and court costs to be paid in advance before taking on a case of this nature.
