Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

i am common law married to my "husband" but wish to get married under the eyes of god in a traditional marriage. do I need to get a divorce if I am continuing the marriage?

What you've asked if more of s theological than legal question. Assuming that you could prove a common law marriage, you should not be prohibited from undertaking a marriage or wedding ceremony, and obtaining a marriage license from the State. I am not recognized as, and do not mean to tout meself as a theologian. But I know of no verse that prohibits a solemn wedding ceremony.
