Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Domestic Partner

My boyfriend and I have lived together as man and wife for the last 12 years. The house is in my name and he contributes no income to the household. I have asked him to leave on numerous occasions due to extreme alcohol abuse. He refuses to leave and says there is no way I can kick him out. How do I get him to move out? We have no children together and I have reason to belive he would be violent and damage property and possibly my person if he was allowed to remain in my home for 30 days if I serve eviction through county deputy. Do I have any other options?

Re: Domestic Partner

Yes, you can file a Petition under the Adult Abuse Act and obtain a Court Order preventing him from entering the home.
