Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I am in the middle of an uncontested divorce. All property has been equally distributed. We have agreed to joint custody. With the agreement of us spending equal amounts of time with the children. My husband is already not sticking with this agreement and is barely taking the kids every other weekend. My question is, I am considering moving from Missouri to Kentucky, can I do this without any legal problems from my husband?

There are legal requirements in order to relocate. You need to talk to your attorney. You must give 60 days written notice by certified mail and he has 30 days after receipt to file and objection with the court. You must also provide other information in your notice. Then there is a legal process. If he does not object you can move. The answer to you questions is you cannot relocate without involving the children's father and he can object drawing you back into court. Discuss this relocation while you are going through the dissolution of your marriage.
