Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I want to know how likely it would be to move out of state with my son when the dad doesnt agree. He is a truck driver. We agreed to joint custody. But our son lives with me. He see's him most wks. sometimes one day some two some none. What are my chances. I can hav a job there and a friend that we can stay with for a month til I get my own place.

You must comply with the Relocation Statute by sending Dad the letter with all of the info the statute requires. Then, Dad can object and take the matter to court where the judge will decide. In many cases the judge will allow the relocation with the child especially if you can make some adjustments in the existing parenting plan to be sure that Dad gets significant and meaningful time with the child.
