If your son has not been judicially determined to be the father of the child, then your son has no legal right to see or be with the child. This is true even if the state child support agency has determined your son to be the father and has ordered him t pay child support. The only way your son can obtain legally enforceable rights concerning this child is to file a lawsuit and obtain a judgment setting forth exactly what those rights shall be. You son should earn, save, or perhaps borrow enough money to hire an attorney to get this accomplished as soon as possible. Perhaps if you and other family members who are concerned would get together to help raise money for this purpose, your son wll be able to bring your grandchild around to visit regularly and you both can enjoy a relationship with the child and play a role in the child's life.
