Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My son is recently divorced in MO, it was final about 3 months ago. They have joint custody of their 2 year old son, my grandson. Since the divorce was final the ex wife has moved 3 times without informing anyone that she is moving. My son has found out only when he goes to pick his son up from the scheduled visitation and they are not where he dropped him off at. He will call the ex and she tells him where she is at saying she forgot to tell him she was moving. She also pulled him from his daycare/pre-school without dicussing it with my son. My grandson now goes part time to a licensed daycare near his mother, but my son has no idea where the day care is or anything about the people running it, how to find it, a phone number nothing. He seems to think that his hands are tied and he can't do anything about this. I say there has to be soemthing he can do. My fear is that she will decide that moving to another state will make her happy and just up and go and not tell where she is. Is there anything my son can do?

Yes! Your son could immediately file a Motion for Contempt with the court and obtain a Show Cause Order requiring his ex to come back to court to explain why she should not be held in contempt of court for refusing to follow the court's orders. She seems to need some strongly worded guidance and the threat of being actually put in jail by the court might not hurt. I do handle these types of cases and would be willing to consult with you or your son.
