Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

My dad traded a 4 wheeler for a 20 ft enclosed trailer. It was an even trade. However the guy has been beating around the bush about the title. My dad in his old age gave the guy his title for the 4 wheeler. The guy is telling him that the title is wrong, he says it supposed to be 24 ft so he is trying to get that fixed. However, through some resources I have I found out the guy has not paid taxes on the trailer and never titled it at all and supposedly he has the title. What can we do legally? Thanks.

Your fther may need to rescind the trade or sue to have the title quieted in his name. If he hires counsel to deal with the other guy, it may speed up the process.

Good luck
