Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

I have a daughter whose living with us, her parents, who hasn't lived up to the conditions of her staying at home. She won't go to GED classes to educate herself. She has lived there for almost 9 months thus establishing our home as her residence. She receives mail there do I have to file a notice in the local paper stating her failure to comply and then give her 30 - 45 days notice before she can move out?

If your daughter is at least eighteen years old, you can giver her a notice to move out. Then if she does not, you can file an unlawful detainer action in the Independence Jackson County Court annex. If your daughter is not yet eighteen, then it may be a bit tougher to force her out.
