I had my car hit June of last year and State Farm will not pay up. State Farm said the person that was driving the car did not have permision to take the car by the freind so they will not pay, I am also not the only car that got hit that early morning. I have came to a dead end. I have been told the only way to get money is to get the boy that crashed my car- I know he has no money so what is the point. Please help me.

Re: State Farm

Look at yor own car insurance policy or contact your agent. You might have the "uninsured motorist" coverage. If so, then you can simply make a claim for your damages against your own insurer, and they can chase after the other side. Also, in many cases the facts are not what they appear to be at first blush. It may be that an attorney could investigate and develop the facts sufficiently to force State Farm to reconsider and pay your claim under the other car owner's insurance coverage. Unfortunately, property damage claims do not usually involve enough monetary damages to justify the expense of legal fees. Good luck.
