Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri

I live in Missouri.I have been living in a renters house for 3 months now. I have asked my landlord about fixing a leaking in the ceiling and replacing two broken widows. But he not attempt to fix the problems. I did not pay rent b?c or these problems. Can he kick me out? He also threaten to throw my belongings out in the yard. Can he do this?

You can be evicted for failure to pay rent. If you feel that repairs were part of the rental agreement, there is a process for reducing your rent payment to have that done. It does not appear that you have followed that procedure.

If a landlord obtains a judgment for unlawful detainer or rent and possession, they cannot just walk out of the court room and throw the defendants belongings into the street, without exposing themselves to a suit form that tenant for the value of those belongings.
