Hello... Well first off i am a renter and i have been in this house for around 3 years never once late on the rent and so yesterday i get a message in the mail that there was a cirtified letter but i had 2 pick it up from the post office the next day well this morning i went and got it and there were several there all saying the same thing it says

For default in the payment of debt secured by Deed of trust excuted by my land loards name and his wife dated on Febuary 22 2006 recorded on feb. 23 2006 as Document no. 2006k0012595, Officeof the Recorder of Deeds, Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City, Martin Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen, P.C. as Successor Trustee will on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at the North Front Door of the Jackson County Courthouse, 415 E. 12th Street, in Kansas City, Missouri sell at public vendue to the highest bidder for cash equivalent:

So my question is do i have any rights as a renter i just found out today that i have 17 days 2 move and no real savings 2 speak of what should i do i cant just take my kids out of school at the end of the year and move just like that i really dont have the money could you please call or send me a e-mail i really need some good advice thank you...

Your landlord is being foreclosed upon. If you have vaild lease agreement, (not month to month) then you have a right to possess the property, until that changes. Banks have trouble selling property they foreclose upon. Contact the attorney listed on the notice you got and ask them where to start sending the rental payments. If you are not late, they may want to keep you in the house until they sell it. They may not be required to do so though.
