Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Missouri

Right to a jury trial

Can an Attorney waive a client's right to a State Jury Trial without their

knowledge or consent?

Is there a statute of limitations to file suit against the Attorney?

Re: Right to a jury trial

Attorney probably can, but if trial hasn't taken place, you can probably get that changed. However, you might be wise to take atty's advice on whether you're better off doing that or not.

He probably did it automatically because he knew it was the best legal strategy. Courts don't like jury trials generally.

Statute of limitations in Mass. is 2 years. It could be different in MO.
