Legal Question in Personal Injury in Missouri

Responsibility in Auto damage

Person A owns a car and was, at the time, operating the car. Person A told their passenger, Person B, to leave the car during a fight. However, person A did not stop the car. As person B was trying to get out of the car, Person A turned a corner, causing person B to fall out of the car. No serious personal injury resulted, however, as person B was falling out of the car, they grapped onto the door, pulling down on it, bending a hinge. Who would be liable for the car door damage in this sitution?

Responsibility in Auto Damage

Under the circumstances it would be my opinion that Driver/Owner would be 100% responsible for the damages to the door. Under these facts, Driver/Owner should make aclaim against his/her insurance carrier, which will pay for "collision"/property damage regarless of fault - minus the deductible, of course.

Idiots in the Car

I agree with attorney Bruzzi. Its not law, but it seems like A & B both got what was coming to them.
