Anytime a person is injured on the poperty of another, the owner of that property may be found liable for injuries suffered. Landlords oftern insure for this risk, or require tha theri renters do so. If the injury was due to negligence or recklessness of the tenant, then the lanldlord may have a valid defense to aclaim from theri tenant. But, if the injury was due in whole or part to the recklessness or negligence of the landlord, (or their agent) the landlord may be foumd at least partially liable for the injury. This is a general anser to your very general query. You should consult direclty with counsel in your area, if you want advice specific to the facts of your situation.

Good luck
