Items left on property

A few months ago I purchased a few acres of property. when i purchased the property the former owners had left some building materials for a barn on the property. It has now beeen almost 5 months and they have not removed the materials. what rights do I have to those materials. can i just erect the barn uing thier materials since they have been there for so long?

Send the seller a written notice that if the items are not removed within 7 days you will deem them abandonned. Send registered mail so that you have proof of delivery of the notice.
