I am in NC buying a home in Missouri where my sons (38 & 39 yoa) live. I want a temporary power of attorney for my son to sign for me at closing. How do I do this?

An attorney can draft a specific power of attorney for one of your sons to sign any documents needed for the purchase of the real estate. The power of attorney should have very specific language in it and should be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds in the County where the property is located. The cost should be fairly modest. I have done this for individuals in the past, and you may contact me for a free telephone consultation if you would like.
