Multiple injuries from an accident while on the job

I have been offered a settlement of $70,000, But the question i have is that I have an assatubular repair and am told that I eventually will need a hip replacement. I have a fused lumbar disk between l4-5, a broken forearm, crushed shoulder with current tendeniotis, knee surgery for a crushed miniscus, a broken toe and wrenched ankle. My question is , Fair Settlement???? and should I settle at all?

You did not mention whether you are currently represented by an attorney. If so, then you should discuss this in detail with your attorney and follow your attorney's advice. Your attorney is the one person who is most familiar with all fo the various factors to consider in determining whether or not to accept the settlement. Of course, if your attorney has already advised you and you are just looking for other opinions, you have every right to obtain a second opinion (or more.) But, remember that an outside attorney would need to know ALL of the facts before rendering an opinion. An outside attorney could contact your attorney and review the complete file at your request and with the first attorney's consent which will be freely given I'm sure. Now, on the other hand, if you have somehow gotten to this stage without an attorney, you absolutely positively must consult with an expert attorney! An honest attorney will agree to consult with you and review the matter for no charge. An honest attorney will also agree to charge a contingent fee only against any compensation he or she obtains for you over and above the amount of the offer you have already obtained. If you do not have an attorney I would offer to refer you to one of the very best worker's compensation attorneys in the state of Missouri. You may feel free to call me at anytime.
