Legal Question in Workers Comp in Missouri

Work-related injury

My husband was injured at work, had surgery 15 days ago and back at work past 2 days on light duty but still doing his full job. Also the doctor never did an MRI or ultrasound to see exactly what the problem was before surgery. Should he get a lawyer?

Re: Work-related injury

From the brief statement of facts contained in your question, it certainly appears that your husband should file a claim under the Worker's Compensation statute. However, a competent attorney would need to interview your husband before provideing legal advice or services. I have been practicing for over twenty-three years, and I have handled hundreds of such cases successfully. Either you or your husband may contact me for a free telephone consultation at 314-727-2822.Please be cautious of attorneys who advertise or boast that there is no fee unless there is a recovery. Twenty-five per cent contingency fees are standard and are in fact governed by statute. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
