What should my ticket look like for a DUI, and should the result of my breath test be listed on it?

Re: DUI Traffic Ticket

Mr. Wolf told you what your ticket would look like if you were in California. In Montana, the citation would look like any other Montana traffic ticket. The breath test result may or may not be on it. Some officers do put it on the ticket, others don't. It is not required. If you refused the breath test, then you have to deal with a six month suspension and you will need help with it. I would be happy to answer any other questions you might have if you email me privately.

Re: DUI Traffic Ticket

A ticket for a DUI does not look different than any other ticket that you would receive. It will just state that you are being charged with a 23152 (DUI) on the charges section of the ticket. The result of your breath will most likely not be listed on the ticket as well. You will have received a pink slip of paper that is a temporary license which is valid for 30 days. You have 10 days from the DUI to contact the DMV so that your license can be stayed pending the outcome of your DMV hearing. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 310/277-1707.

Sincerely,

Lawrence Wolf, Esq.
