NEB REV STAT 29-2264 has been found to be unconstitutional as it allows the judicial branch to interfere with the executive branch's power to pardon and commute sentences. The only way to clear your record now is to apply for and be granted a pardon by the pardons board. The pardons board consists of the governor, the attorney general and the secretary of state.
