if a child the age of nine steps out into a street not see any on coming traffic and is hit but a car. who is liable for the medical bill incurred by the child? Can the child be accountable for his actions, when drive admitts to seeing the child and admitts to slowing down?

The answer will vary from state to state, but in many states a child can be held accountable for his actions. But with evidence such as the driver slowing down and seeing the child you may be able to argue that the driver had enough time to stop. The flip side argument is that the child darted without looking...That is how could the child say that he/she say no cars but the car saw him/her.

Your best bet would be to contact a local attorney experienced in personal injury and ask the same questions.
