Can payments be made to a attorney for fiing Chapter 7 for both our business and personal

I assume you mean can an attorney accept payments instead of requiring all of the fees before filing. That is up to the attorney, if he is willing to do that. Must attorneys want all of it upfront so they know they will be paid.

Payment of Attorney Fees

Attorney's in private practice can charge whatever they want & how they get paid.

Most attorney's will accept payments from you for their fee, but will wait until you are paid in full before filing your case.

At my office, we require a down payment of $195 and the Court filing fee of $209 to file your case. (Total $404) If you don't make the promised payments, we stop representing you & your case can get thrown out. It becomes very difficult to re-file a Bankruptcy in that situation.

We handle consumer Bankruptcy cases only, no business cases.
