Nominee EIN
What is purpose of having nominee EIN? We are starting new company and this is option.

For privacy. However, this can be risky if the nominee incurs obligations under the EIN number which you will be responsible for. Also, the IRS through its subpoena powers can easily find out who the principle is behind the EIN.
