Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada

Help with collectable assets?

I am working on filing a civil lawsuit regarding a injury I sustained after being hit by a DUI driver. I obtained an Asset printout on the responsible party but I am unsure as to what are collectable assets on the printout and how much the assets are worth. I would appreciate any assistance in this matter from a Credit/Debt lawyer. Thank you in advance!

Re: Help with collectable assets?

Usually the easiest asset to pursue is equity in real property. Even in the absence of such an asset presently, cases such as yours are often worth pursuing because this type of judgment usually cannot be discharged in bankruptcy. In other words, if done properly, you can pursue collection of this judgment for the rest of the debtor's life and even beyond. Even if they don't have money now, this can change in the future.
