Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada

property lien

Is there a time limit in which a property lien will be removed? Specifically, a creditor placed a lien on my moms home because she had nothing they could garnish. Is there ever a time it will be removed unless the debt is paid? Thanks

Re: property lien

Yes, you have to wait until the judgment expires. The creditor can renew the judgment every six years and the lien can only be removed if they forget to renew.
