Legal Question in Entertainment Law in Nevada

Disclaimer and Release Forms

I said my question was one of intellectual property and it does pertain to that. I am directing a music video here in las vegas, nevada and i have a main character, a younge college actress and about 15-20 extras, do i need to create disclaimer and release forms for them to sign so i get into any possible trouble and if the answer is yes, where can i find these disclaimer and release forms at? does nevada have such a law i should abide to and what if time is a matter?

thanks

Re: Disclaimer and Release Forms

I am not licensed in Nevada so this answer is based on general legal concepts.

Yes, I would suggest you get release forms for your talent and extras. If your video hits the big time, this will save you having to either renegotiate rights or payments.

If you are interested, I could refer you to our sister Lex Mundi affiliated law firm in Nevada to assist you.

Best regards,
