Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Can my 13 year old son ask the courts to change who has physical custody of him?

Can he be summonsed to court by a judge in Las Vegas NV? What motion is used to request the summons?

I live in Indiana he is in Las Vegas. We have a Legal Joint Custody case in Las Vegas.

Short answer: no. Custody is between you and your ex, for the most part. In extraordinary circumstances, children can move through "next friends" for hearings, and even third parties (usually, grandparents) can request custody or visitation. Much of the detail, the statutes, etc., are posted at http://www.willicklawgroup.com/child_custody_visitation.
