What if you ar married to an immigrant trying to get his citizenship and things go wrong to the point that you now want a divorce and the immigrant wants to give you a hard tim and say they are not going to sign the papers for the divorce...what can you do?

You can file and serve divorce papers and do not need the immigrant's signature.

You don't need the immigrant's signature for the divorce. However, it may delay the process because you will have serve him, wait 20 days to see if he responds or default him if he doesn't. Call an attorney for details.
