Divorce and Bankruptcy

Is it legal for me to take ALL debt in a Divorce then file Bankruptcy to save my wifes credit from being ruined as well?

Yes and no. The creditors will go after your wife after you file for bankruptcy. If you have not waived alimony, she can seek a modification of alimony based upon a change of circumstances and you will pay her rather than the creditors.

Divorce cannot modify the rights of creditors. You taking the debts in the divorce doesn't stop the creditors from going after your wife.
