want to withdraw divorce petition

I want to withdraw my divorce petition but my husband counterclaimed - how can I stop the divorce proceeding?

You can't without his permission. I would suggest that you seek mediation to reconcile and get him to dismiss the counterclaim. Otherwise, you might end up getting a divorce that you won't want.
