Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada

No settlement check received
May, 1998 I slipped and fell on slippery floor of motel in Utah & cracked my wrist. I live in Nevada. Motel 6 chain is owned by French company. I signed & mailed a release in October, 1998, to a California lawyer in response to a letter from him that my claim for$783.75(only the amount of my medical expenses) was accepted. It is now May, 1999 and I still have not received my money. What do I do now? Thanks

Call the lawyer and ask. Call the motel chain and ask. If you do not get a satisfactory answer then call the insurance department in Nevada.
