Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada

Name change for Deed to the house

My husband and I bought a house as joint tennants. Last year my husband died. How do I remove my husband's name from the Deed/Title to the house and how do I change a name on the Deed to (just) mine? What forms will I need?

Re: Name change for Deed to the house

You will need to prepare and record an Affidavit of Death of Joint Tenant. The Clark County, Nevada Recorder's instructions are here:

You need to record an Affidavit Of Termination Of Joint Tenancy with a certified copy of the Death Certificate.
