Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada

Nevada state business license requirement for a Nevada LLC

I am forming a Nevada LLC to hold my real estates investment in Nevada, soldly for asset protection. Do I need to get a state business license ($200) as well as EIN? I understand I would need it if I was conducting an active business in Nevada, but real estate holding/asset protection is passive. Thanks in advance for your help.

By "asset protection" you mean that when some creditor asks you under oath whether you own any real estate, you're going to lie about it, because you think the creditor won't find out that you own shares in a Nevada.LLC? That would be illegal, and I won't help you do that. Maybe you'll be able to find an attorney who will.
