deceased parent

my father, an american citizen, died. he lived in 3 states. i have no idea of his bank accounts or if he had a will or pension. how can i find this?

If you know his social and where he lived and some of his debts, you can pull a credit report. Otherwise, you can get a credit report after you get court approved as executor.

You can also fill out a change of address after you get court approved as executor.

You can just also write the banks in the towns that he lived in. In Las Vegas, there are probably only ten banks. For example, the big banks. ie., Bank of American, Wells Fargo can give you information for any branch in the country.
