Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Nevada

Duarable medical and financial power of attorney

My sister is listed as primary power of attorney for our mother. I am listed as secondary if my sister can't perform her function. Our mother resides in Nevada but is hospitalized in Ohio in an incapacitated state. My sister has changed the locks on our mothers house and informed all medical staff and facilities that she and an aunt back in Pennsylvania are the only ones who can receive any medical info reguarding our mother. My sister and aunt won't speak to me. Where do I go from here?

Re: Duarable medical and financial power of attorney

You would have to challenge the power of attorney in Guardianship or Conservatorship Court. However, you would probably have to show some type of misconduct by your sister.
