Legal Question in Construction Law in New Hampshire

Paid in full work not complete

I paid for a foundation and concrete

floor. Foundation is complete floor is

not. Paid in full to GC. Foundation

sub was never paid and refuses to

complete work until GC pays him. I

did not hire sub (GC did). How do I

get my money back ($1200 for

floor) and should I be worried about a

mechanics lien even though I have

paid GC in full? GC will not return

my calls.

Re: Paid in full work not complete

You claim is with the GC. Depending upon when the work was done, a mechanic's lien is possible.
