buyer protection from another consumer

i sold a vehicle to someone...finding out he lived close by and short on cash, i allowed him to give me 3 payments on vehicle..i gave him a bill of sale and he managed the first 2 payments...on the day of the 3rd payment he decided he didnt want the vehicle...i told him that my son owned the vehicle and he had spent the money thinking the truck was sold...what are my rights...

Your rights might depend on why he wanted to return the vehicle and any other verbal understanding you might have had. However, generally he is obligated to pay you the last payment. If he does not, you can bring a small claims suit for breach of contract.
