Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire

going into the Navy

The father of my son has primary custody of our 6 year old. He has just enlisted himself in the Navy reserves. He leaves on the 17 of January 2007. He will also be gone for a year in 2008 I believe. He wants for me to live in his house for the duration of his bootcamp (6 months). He also wants me to go to a notary to have rules and stipulations that he has come up with while he is gone, for me to abide by. He says if I dont agree he will send our son to his grandparents.( not an option.) I want to know as the mother am I entitled to primary custody while his father is away to live with me in my house? I live with my parents. This would mean for my son to change schools for the duration of the school year. What type of legal action would be in my best interest?or do I even need to take legal action, where he is enlisted already did he give up his primary rights?

Re: going into the Navy

You can either reach an agreement for temporary change in custody, or you could petition for a permanent change in custody based on this new development. If you wish to discuss the details please contact me.
