Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Hampshire

Real Estate Ownership

I own property with somone else who I had a relationship with, but we were not married. He is not on the mortgage & he is not living at property anylonger, I think I may be able to get him to sign a quit claim deed. How do I go about doing this legally?

A deed must be drawn up where your friend and you convey just to you and then record the deed. It is about $100 to have a lawyer do and the recording fee is around $15 to ther Registry of deeds.
